We are very proud of Shipston U13s, they have consistently performed well in their games this season and now five of the team have been recognised with a call up to the district squad.

South Warwickshire will benefit from Joe Painter's rhino like ability to break open defences and make ground, Ilyas Aarfi's strength, courage and determination and George McGinn's tenacity and skill in the forwards. In the backs they will get Alistair McCallum's searing runs and dynamism together with George Hendy who is tremendously talented as a decision maker, team leader and all round footballer. All five boys are at King Edward VI School Stratford and play regularly on a Sunday in the Shipston U13 junior side.
