Huge thanks and congratulations go out to Mary Sabin and all involved in the organisation of the 'Pink Ladies Lunch' - held yesterday at Mayo Rd in support of the 'wear it pink' campaign and Breast Cancer Research.

97 stunning 'young and younger' ladies, sporting a variety of pink attire, came along to a luncheon at Shipston Rugby Club to raise awareness and funds for this great cause. Following a three course lunch, beautifully served by players from the club's youth section, the ladies gave their vocal support to the Shipston First XV and helped to spur the boys on to a fine victory over Pershore in a vital Midlands 3 South league fixture.

With true Shipston spirit the ladies continued their marathon fun-raiser fundraiser through until 11pm, raising a substantial sum of money for the charity in the process.

A truly great effort from all involved, organisers and attendees alike.
