Another first class performance from Shipston u15s.
A windy morning, with hard ground under foot, saw Shipston u15s welcome Witney to Mayo Road.
Scores from Isaac Clayton, Will Crawshaw, Matt Speechley, James Atkins, Sam Ceagh and Isaac Rowles brought home a 57-10 victory.
The positive play we have seen throughout the season was evident again today;
- great team ethos and tremendous commitment
- a solid set piece platform from our impressive front 3
- good, aggressive rucking, and equally impressive speed to the breakdown
- fast ball recycling at the breakdown
- some top draw choke tackles resulting in valuable turnover possession
- some brilliant offloading skills were on show
- our backline had the beating of the opposition all morning
- outstanding technique in the tackle
Again difficult to point to any one player being the Man of the Match - all were first class.
Tour game next up against Swansea Uplands will be a good test and one I'm very much looking forward to.
The Squad continue to develop and improve - while that's happening we will always be a handful for the opposition.
Once again - great performance lads.
Let's work on improving again in the last 2 fixtures of the season.
